This final section has the photos of the G3020 in its case.
The case was unfinished aluminum when I received it, so I decided to spray paint with some nice lacquer. My idea was a shiny auto-finish colored to match my Elecrafts. The Local NAPA auto store had a "metallic silver" that sounded appealing. Zincrom primer came first; then the lacquer. Instead to the shiny surface I expected, it turned out as a rough-textured dull color. Looks nice enough, but not quite what I wanted. After hunting unsuccessfully for dry-transfer lettering, I gave up and used a tape writer with clear tape, black letters. Not a stunning result, but at least I know what the switches are now.
